I’ve just joined Kiva. Something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.

- 9356 new lenders joined
- 1 loan made every 15 seconds
- 98.91% repayment rate
- 20,085 lenders made a loan
- 2674 entrepreneurs were funded.
People are better off receiving a loan than receiving a handout. Handouts help maintain the cycle of poverty. Loans help people maintain their dignity and help people improve their own lives.
